Popular soft skills course to go ‘Public’

2014 saw a rise in demand for soft skills training and one of the most popular was the Accuracy and Attention to Detail course delivered by trainer Alison Darrington.

Alison’s approach has won her much praise. The course is tailored to each company’s needs and has been combined with Business Report Writing & Business Letter Writing to help individuals cope effectively with their daily tasks.

The course objectives and core foundations are to recognise common errors & what causes us to make them. Also, to analyse personality types and how this influences the mistakes we make and determine the impact of making mistakes and errors. It also teaches how to use tips & techniques to put together a personal development plan. The rest of the course is built around individual customer requirements with some fun theory activities along the way.

Alison recently delivered a course for Kitec – King’s Technology Evaluation Centre. Its Health Technology Assessor, Dr Robert Peter Dowling, PhD, had this to say about the course:

“I was thoroughly impressed with how yesterday panned out. Alison was extremely well prepared and provided plenty of resources, suggestions and material for me to use. The course was completely tailored to me and in no way generic.

“More importantly, her manner and personal skills were superb. She spoke to me rather than at me- something that I hold in high regard. The environment she created yesterday was very open and honest, which in turn gave me confidence in the course subject and therefore allowed me to really engage with the day.

“I will have no hesitation in recommending C&C Training and Alison in the future.”

To meet demand, C&C Training has also scheduled public course dates for 2015.
