Spills of hazardous substances pose serious risks to both the environment and human health. The Spills Awareness course aims to equip participants with the knowledge required to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and effectively manage spillage incidents. The workshop covers essential topics such as health and safety legislation, types of injuries, infection risks, spill identification, and awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations. Participants will learn how to conduct COSHH assessments, interpret safety data sheets, implement spill prevention and control measures, and follow proper reporting procedures. A practical spill response exercise is included in the training. Successful completion of the practical assessment and theory test will earn delegates a C&C Training Ltd Certificate of Attendance. The Emergency First Aid at Work course provides essential training on life-saving first aid techniques and workplace health and safety regulations. It is intended for nominated emergency first aiders or individuals seeking a comprehensive one-day first aid course. Topics covered include Health & Safety (First Aid) regulations, accident management, first aid priorities, treatment of unconscious casualties, resuscitation techniques, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), shock management, bleeding control (including catastrophic bleeding awareness), and common workplace injuries. Continuous assessment is conducted throughout the course, and participants who successfully complete the final assessment will receive an approved certificate valid for three years. The course duration is one day.

The MHFA Remote Mental Health First Aider course, delivered via Zoom, provides participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to support individuals experiencing mental health distress. Developed by Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, this course offers an in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors influencing well-being. Delegates will learn to recognize early signs of mental health issues, develop practical intervention skills, and gain confidence in offering reassurance and support. The training also enhances interpersonal skills, including non-judgmental listening, and provides guidance on directing individuals toward appropriate resources such as self-help tools, employer support, or NHS services. The course consists of four live training sessions, supplemented by self-learning activities, and is limited to 16 participants per session to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment. Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance, a reference manual, a quick-reference action plan card, and a workbook with a mental health toolkit. This two-day course is ideal for those who wish to assist individuals experiencing mental health challenges but does not train participants to be therapists.
