Department for Transport Clarifies No Removal of SWQR Card

The answer to that at present is no. We caught up with the Street Works Qualification Register (SWQR) earlier this week to gain clarification on the matter following the latest consultation update released by the Department for Transport on Street Work Qualification Regulations.

At this time, they have not been notified that the six month grace period after the date of expiry of the cards is being removed. It was however confirmed that they are aware changes are going to be enforced but when that will be, what they will look like and how they will work is at this time unknown.
