New course gives food for thought
C&C Training has a new course to offer for those working in the food industry.
The HABC Level 4 – HACCP Management of Food Manufacturing will help develop skills for people working at management level in the food and drink production business and is designed to assist in the implementation of a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) System.
Food business operators are required by law, to ensure that food handlers receive appropriate supervision and training in food hygiene in line with their work which should allow them to handle food safely.
In the UK, food handlers do not have to hold a food hygiene certificate to prepare or sell food, although many food businesses would prefer that they did. The necessary skills can be obtained through on-the-job training.
