Working at Height – Including the Safe Use of Steps and Ladders

Course Objectives

This course is designed to give delegates an understanding of the regulations, and what they mean for the employee as well as the employer.

Course Content

At the end of the course, delegates will have an understanding of the following:

• Health and Safety Law and Working at Height Regulations
• Duties of the employer
• Duties of the employee
• Defining ‘Working at Height’
• How to identify the root cause of accidents in relation to working at height
• Safe use of equipment – ladders, steps, towers, MEWPs
• Risk assessment
• Inspecting equipment

Who Should Attend?

Anyone who works at height and health and safety supervisors / managers.

Duration

The course duration is ½ day to 1 day, depending on delegate numbers and specific requirements.

Certification

On completion of the course, delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
