S001 Site Safety Awareness Refresher

Course Objectives:

At the end of this course, learners will be able to answer questions on and perform the following:

• Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry, and their responsibilities as an employer, employee, and self-employed person.
• Understand emergency procedures – first aid, fire safety, health risks, and welfare. Know the essentials of working at height and PPE use.
• Gain knowledge of hazardous substances, environmental waste protection, and control, as well as manual handling, electrical safety, hand tools, and equipment.
• Understand the effects of noise, vibration, and site transport on individuals and the environment.
• Gain awareness of excavations, inspections, and transport safety on-site.

Course Duration: 1 Day

Delegate Numbers: Max of 20 per course

Certification:

On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive an NPORS card valid for 5 years. After this period, a refresher course can be undertaken to maintain certification.
