PASMA Working at Heights (Novice)

Course Objectives:

This course is designed to enable an individual to effectively comply with their duties under the Work at Height Regulations.

A Course notes booklet & the current code of practice will be issued to attendees. These may be electronic / digital copies.

Regulations & guidance affecting work at height
Employees responsibilities
Types of access equipment
Selecting appropriate equipment
An overview of Fall Protection, Fragile Surfaces, Risk Assessments, Emergency & Rescue and Inspecting Equipment

Delegates will be required to complete an end of course assessment, with a pass mark of 80% in order to successfully complete the course.

On successful completion, delegates will be awarded a PASMA photocard.

Anyone who is involved in working at heights, particularly those who are new to working at height. This is an entry-level course.

No qualifications or experience are required to attend this course.

Learn about current legislation, regulations, and guidance for work at height.
Understand the responsibilities of employees and selecting appropriate equipment.
Complete an end-of-course assessment with a pass mark of 80%.
Receive a PASMA photocard on successful course completion.
