N726 Quick Hitch Awareness Experienced Worker Tests (EWT)

Course Objectives:

By the end of this course, the learner will be able to answer questions on and perform the following:

• Understand the industry, the dangers of working in the industry, and their responsibilities as a plant operator.
• Have a working knowledge of the manufacturer's handbook for the particular Quick Hitch to be used.
• Identify and explain the major components of the Quick Hitch and their functions.
• Identify and maintain PPE appropriate for Quick Hitch use.
• Explain the different types of Quick Hitch devices.
• Conduct all pre-operational checks in accordance with manufacturers' and legislative requirements.
• Perform all necessary safety checks at the designated changeover area.
• Fit and remove attachments safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrate and explain checks for attachment security.
• Carry out all end-of-shift and shutdown procedures.

Course Duration: 1 Day

Delegate Numbers: Max of 10 per course

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will receive an NPORS card valid for 5 years. After this, a refresher course can be undertaken.
