At the end of this course, delegates will be able to answer questions on and perform the following:

Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will receive an NPORS card valid for 5 years. After this, a refresher course can be undertaken.

Course Features

  • Understand offshore crane operations and associated risks.
  • Interpret lift plans and conduct necessary pre-operational checks.
  • Set up exclusion zones and ensure all safety measures are in place.
  • Safely operate the crane, considering sea uplift and vessel movement.
  • Ensure suitable landing areas and check environmental conditions.
  • Carry out shutdown procedures and secure the crane after use.
