Course Objective

This course is designed for individuals involved in the operational activities of the telecommunications industry. The complex network of services spread throughout the UK—including radio, telephone, and internet—requires ongoing maintenance and upgrades to keep services running smoothly. Operatives frequently encounter significant hazards in their daily work, making health and safety awareness crucial.

Course Content

The scheme comprises ten modules. The eight core modules are common across all utility industries and form the foundation of health, safety, and environmental law and practices.

The course is designed to provide on-site evidence that an individual has demonstrated an appropriate level of knowledge and awareness.

Certification

Upon successful completion, delegates will receive a Utility SHEA Network & Telecommunications passport, which is valid for three years from the date of training.
