EUSR National Water Hygiene (Blue Card)

Course Objectives

This course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of the need for good hygiene when working with potable water. The course aims to ensure that individuals understand the importance of hygiene in preventing contamination and maintaining water quality.

Course Content

The objectives of the course are as follows:

• Ensure that all individuals are aware of the ways in which potable water could be contaminated.
• Make individuals aware that it is their responsibility to prevent contamination and maintain the purity of the water.
• Ensure individuals reach a nationally agreed level of training on potable water hygiene.

At the end of the course, delegates are required to sit the National Water Hygiene Test.

On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive an EUSR National Water Hygiene Card, which is valid for 3 years.

Duration

The course duration is ½ day, providing essential knowledge on the safe handling and hygiene practices necessary for working with potable water.

Certification
