Butt & Electro Fusion

Course Objectives:

This one day course is designed to give delegates the knowledge and skills to correctly weld and test the final weld.

Course Contents:

On completion of the course delegates will be able to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of Butt Fusion and the skill required for correct welding of the various size range available.
• Demonstrate in theory and practical sessions how the criteria for welding creates good or bad joints depending upon the operator competence, tooling and area selected to make the weld.
• Identify and use pipes and equipment available to make an industry standard Butt Fused joint.
• Demonstrate how to inspect and test the final weld.

On completion of the course delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Those who are required to perform Electron &/or Butt Fusion Jointing as part of their job role.
