Course Objectives
This course provides learners with an enhanced understanding of safety principles in water jetting operations, along with practical experience and familiarisation with water jetting equipment, focusing on safe and effective use.
Course Content:
By the end of the course, delegates will have gained knowledge in the following areas:
- Comprehensive training in water jetting safety and operations
- Recognising and mitigating potential hazards
- Safe setup and operation of equipment for all personnel
- Practical, supervised use of water jetting equipment
- Procedures for managing injuries caused by water jet impact
- Choosing the correct nozzle and handling mains water safely
- Establishing safe work systems per the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Proper selection and use of PPE under the P.P.E. Regulations 1992
