PASMA Combined Low Level Access & Towers for Users
Course Objectives:
This course is designed to train delegates on how to assemble , dismantle and relocate low level access units & mobile access towers without the risk of personal injury to themselves or others, using approved build methods.
Course notes booklet and the current code of practice will be issued to all delegates. These may be digital / electronic copies.
Course Content:
The topics covered on this course include:
- Current legislation, Regulations & Guidance affecting work at height with low level access units & standard mobile access towers
- PASMA code of practice product standards , BS 8620 & EN 1004 – 1
- Assembling, altering & dismantling, incorporating current best practice for fall protection
- Inspection of completed low level access units & standard mobile access towers
- Tower Inspection Records
- Hazards affecting the use of low level access units
Delegates will be required to complete both theory & practical assessments, with an 80% pass mark for both.
On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a PSMA Photocard valid for 5 years.
Who Should Attend?
Personnel who will be responsible for the assembly, use, dismantling, alteration, moving & inspection of mobile access towers who also work from low level access platforms with maximum platform height of no greater than 2.5m.
A maximum of 8 delegates can attend this course.
