A big “thank you” to all our customers – C&C raised £470 for kiddies’ Christmas gifts
Do you remember going home with a cuddly Pink Panther toy after attending one of our courses?
Well, C&C Training is delighted to report that after its three-month fundraising campaign, thanks to all your kind donations, it raised £470 – enough to fund 10 toy boxes for children’s charity KidsOut.
On Thursday 5th December, at C&C Training’s head office in Ridgeway Court, Grovebury Road, Leighton Buzzard, company directors Ruth Crothers and Charlie Cadman handed over a cheque to the Chief Executive of the children’s Fun & Happiness charity KidsOut, Gordon Moulds & Sandra Doherty, Charity Executive, whose HQ is also based in Leighton Buzzard.
We asked delegates attending courses at the training centres in Leighton and Bury St Edmunds to give generously to the appeal through donations, and by purchasing the KidsOut Pink Panther bendy-toys.
Much to C&C’s delight, takings were in the pink (just like the panthers!) – Operations Director Ruth Crothers said: “We have great pleasure in presenting KidsOut with the money. Charlie and I both have children so this charity is close to our hearts and we wanted to give something to children who may not otherwise have received a gift this year.
“We would like to thank all our customers, delegates, neighbouring businesses, and our staff who donated.”
